Today, November 23, 2023, the Bishop of Ndola Diocese – Rt. Rev. Dr. Benjamin Phiri JCD, held a closed-door meeting with some members of the Holy Ghost Congregation (Spiritans), who have come to establish their Mission in Ndola Diocese. The delegation was led by the superior, Fr. Cycus Chungu, CSSp.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and also to introduce two new priests who have been assigned to the diocese. Namely, Fr. John Duya CSSp. and Fr. Damian Lutanda CSSp
At the end of the meeting, a sense of anticipation and shared purpose lingered in the air. The collaboration between the Ndola Diocese and the Spiritans, as solidified in this meeting, holds the promise of fostering spiritual growth, community development, and an unwavering commitment to the shared values of compassion and service.
The introduction of Fr. John Duya CSSp. and Fr. Damian Lutanda CSSp. marks not only the expansion of the Spiritan presence but also the beginning of a new chapter in the spiritual journey of the Ndola Diocese community.
