INTRODUCTION
Spiritan Academy which is the second School to be established by Spiritans in Zambia was established on the 10th of January, 2022. It is the second School to be established by the Zambia Spiritan Group after Maria Regina Nursery and Primary School situated within the premises of Maria Regina Parish Linda Livingstone. Spiritan Academy was established by Fr. Daniel Naji, CSSp, with the Approval of the then Superior Fr. Damian Lutanda, CSSp. with his Council (Fr. Eunia Mutinta, CSSp. and Fr. Darlington Okparaike, CSSp.) Suffice it to say here that unlike Maria Regina School, Spiritan Academy is 100 percent the property of Zambia Spiritan Group. .
FIRST DAY OF ITS ESTABLISHMENT
On the First day of its establishment as a Nursery School, Spiritan Academy Maloni recorded 12 number of pupils who were the pioneer. Also present at that special occasion was the founder Fr. Daniel Naji, CSSp, and the following Spiritans Fr. Samuel Nwonsu, CSSp, Fr. Albert Phiri, CSSp. Notable among the pioneer teachers present on this day was Mr. Kay Sichongwe (Headtecher). On the first day of opening the Spiritan Academy, the School had only the following edifices (One office and one by two classrooms).
LANDMARK EVENT
On the 28th of November, 2022, 16 pupils graduated to Primary one (grade 1) to elevate the School to Nursery and Primary School. The Chief Guest of Honor of the first ever graduation ceremony of the Spiritan Academy was Fr. Cycus Chungu, CSSp. (Superior of the Zambia Spiritan Group). On this day, the superior planted a tree as a symbol of sowing a seed with the hope that it will grow and become a big tree that will provide fruits and shelter. .
PPROGRESS REPORT
Spiritan Academy has presently 102 pupils after about two years after its establishment. It has the following streams (Baby, Middle and Reception in Nursery section) (Grades 1, 2 and 3 in Primary section). It has 6 staff (3 Teaching staff and 1 office staff, 1 cook and 1 cleaner). The edifices have increased thanks to our donors. It has two offices, one infirmary (Isolation room) 12 toilets and bathrooms, six classrooms, dining hall and Kitchen. Presently we are building 4 more classrooms, 1 deputy head teacher’s office and 1 staff room. Besides, the whole School compound is properly secured with wall fence..

CONCLUSION
